The Ten Commandments

- Exodus 20 -

1. You shall have no other gods before me.

Luke 6:27-36 -

Love your enemies.

"Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the Kingdom of God."

Definitions of the unrighteous

Fornicators: A person who has sexual relations before marriage.

​

Idolaters: Worship of idols, image, statues, handmade items

​

Adulterers: A married person having sexual relations with someone other than their spouse.

 

Homosexuals: Person sexually attracted to the same gender.

​

Sodomites: Sexual immorality/perversion.

​

Thieves: A person who steals.

​

Covetous: Doing evil to obtain money/greedy.

​

Drunkard: Habitually drunk on strong liquor 

​

Revilers: Speaks abusively, scornfully, or criticizes

​

Extortioners: Illegally or forcefully takes something from somebody.
