Modesty Outfit #1: Simply Sunny

Hello guys! Welcome to another blog.

In a few of our videos we have spoken about the topic of modesty, so I thought it would be a good idea to show you some of my outfits.

Although I took this picture last summer, it could still be used for good!

In this picture, we have a simple and casual outfit; a plain white t-shirt, a flowered maxi skirt, and a silicone strap watch. This can be worn on a day out with friends or family, on a shopping day, or even just running some errands. It is super comfortable and perfect for a hot summer day.

I personally think that the white top may be a little too much in contrast with the yellow flowers, and it would have gone better with a cream coloured top. The brown and gold in the watch balances the outfit nicely with the colours of the flowers. This outfit can easily be paired with some brown sandals or any sneaker of your choice, of course!

I think that we should name this outfit simply sunny, because it is a very casual, bright, and great outfit for a beautiful and warm summer day! Also for the sunflowers!

Where are these from?

White T-Shirt- This shirt is from Ardene's. I have always wanted a top that was this cut, though it isn't visible in this picture, it is more of a "boxy" fit.

Flowered Skirt- This skirt is from Brandy Melville. This is a straight fitting, very light skirt, and thin material. It is extremely stretchy, but also see-through. I would definitely recommend wearing a slip under it! I am a fairly tall person and this skirt is very long! It is a blessing though, because I love high-waisted skirts, so this works perfectly for that!

I did not buy this at Brandy Melville, but God allowed me to find this wonderful skirt at a thrift store!

Silicone Watch- This watch is from Michael's! It was on sale for a great price, and even the regular price is not bad either. It comes in many different colours, but the brown looked best on me, lol.

Final thoughts!

I really do like this outfit, especially on very hot summer days, because of it's thin material and light colours. In the fall or winter, I would pair it with a thin cream or beige knit sweater!
